A well balanced vegetarian diet is actually very healthy. They do suffer from more psychological problems and depression than the rest of us meat eaters. It does not have one damn thing to do with their diet. They have a predisposition to be vegetarians due there underlying psychology. If I did not like meat I would opt for their diet. I like meat. It is actually very healthy to be a vegetarian or a meat eater if your diet is well balanced.
Hunting season is just a few months away. I am down to about 20 pounds of deer in my freezer. I shall replenish it in October. It tastes great.
I have known dozens of vegetarians over my life time. Most of them were very smart and did a lot of research on how to get the nutrients they needed. Nearly all of them had to give it up or died young. We have a niece who has been a vegetarian for a couple of years now. She is only 20 and looks awful. I am not convinced at all that even a “well balanced vegetarian diet” is healthy.
