I have been on FR under txzman but no longer have access to my old email.
After today, I am DONE with ANYTHING having to do with the GOP. I tried to call the GOP Natl HQ today and as you might guess their mailbox is full.
Not only will I NEVER vote for this party again, I am seriously tempted to vote straight Democratic in 2018 to teach these spineless, dishonest SOBs a lesson.
I predict a massive sweep for the Dems in 2018. Not because they are sane or should win - just that massive numbers of formerly dependable GOP voters like me will be saying (expletive deleted) and will stay home or vote elsewhere.
There, I feel better. My Dad was an Annapolis Grad, Counterespionage all his life and he would agree - America is finished. And I don't care anymore....

Hard to disagree. For years I argued with folks on here that we have to vote republican. They are so pathetic, so evil it’s hard to support them. Anyone who thinks these scum politicians oppose Trump on principle, I have a bridge to sell you.

The United States today is a nation unrecognizable from what it was at the time of the Bi-centenial in 1976.
We have become a nation of overindulgence and superficiality on many levels. There are no duties from the citeznry, only “rights”.
Add to this the new anxieties and oversensitiveness about just about everything else and you get a population (about half of it) which is ignorant and pathetic.
While America wrestles with itself on just about every issue and while she abandons the founding principles upon which she was created and sustained, her enemies cackle and laugh. They were worried when Trump was elected but now they are confident that with just enough agitation, he can be toppled.
Trump was elected and if we had a mature and responsible population, he would be allowed to get on with the extreme business of repairing what Pres. Obama destroyed - namely unity, sense of purpose, not victimhood and keeping the country up as a superpower, all that was shattered with the Obama years.
Now we are at polar extremes where there are daily calls for Soviet like purges. Where will it end?
In another Class war or Civil War we do not know but we are showing internal rot and extreme weakness of purpose to the entire world.
It’s no wonder, Iran, Russia, China, NORK, Syria, Hizbollah, HAMAS, ISIS and so many other enemies of humanity are only sharpening their knives while America blunted her own.

I threw away a vote by voting for Ross Perot and helped elect Bubba Clinton. I’ll never do that again. I’ll vote GOP unless a better candidate/party has a real chnce to win.
I think the only positive thing we can say is the Rinos need to be primaried and fast .
