I didn’t see that Trump specifically referred to the bullet story, he could have meant the burials instead.
Would be typical fake news to misrepresent his remarks.

I think it is possibly the basis for the subsequent story. The Legend may not be accurate in the details, but the salient point remains. US forces used pigs blood as a weapon against Muslim terrorists, and that's the core of the Message that Trump referenced.

They are already doing that. There is a deceitful technique of arguing in which you find some small mistake or incorrect detail, and then you declare it proves the entire argument wrong!

This is what the media is doing with Trump. They are emphasizing the "This story was Debunked, and so therefore Trump is an idiot!"

They leave out any proof that his point is based on real events, and by censoring such information, they manipulate the public.
