Former students at Liberty University are preparing to return their diplomas in a group protest of university president Jerry Falwell Jr.'s support for President Trump's agenda. In a group letter first reported by NPR, a small group of alumni is criticizing Falwell for supporting the president in the wake of Trump's remarks blaming "many sides" for violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Va., last weekend. The letter slams Falwell for defending Trump's comments, specifically for his saying there were "very fine people" protesting on both sides.

Anyone know of a list of reasonable politicians and pundits who have defended Trumps “very fine people” statement?
20 is an insignificant number considering the thousands of degrees that they have issued.

Let me guess. The first letters of the first six paragraphs in this missive spell R-E-S-I-S-T, right?
Better yet - on the transcripts of all those who hand their diplomas back, in large print state that their diplomas had been returned.
That way, prospective employers who don’t want to hire troublemaking snowflakes will be able to easily identify the troublemaking snowflakes.
Good. If they are this stupid, they don’t deserve their diplomas anyway.
So? This means absolutely nothing. As does most of the symbolic crap these people do.
I lost the paper diploma from my degree some years ago. That changes nothing I still have a degree. And since my degree is from 1975 I actually learned something.

These people graduated????????????they are so stupid that they should sue to get their money back.....good grief!!!
As Rush says, liberalism is all symbolism over substance.
They will “hand in”, but not ask to have revoked, their degrees. They’ll keep those and put them on their resumes.
And the school can invalidate their transcripts so it is not the empty gesture that is intended.
Proving once again that getting a college diploma does not mean you have any intelligence!

The Registrar could red flag their records to reflect that they are not Liberty U. grads as they will undoubtedly claim on their job applications.

Considering that Liberty University is a Christian College, it makes me sic to think they do not understand that the left is using people, and lying, manipulating, and desecrating history to make Trump look bad! Why? Because they get paid by George Soros to act that way!
Remember the old Jesse Jackson ‘rent a mobs’? Well, its more than fried chicken now to get them off their lazy rear ends! The last bunch are terrorist protesters who are violent and need to be arrested. The right to assemble PEACEFULLY, and FREE SPEECH are not at risk, but the right to oppose Communist/Marxists and Evil are!
