I’ve never had children, so there is much I don’t know firsthand. These are month old babies. Still very new. Do most of them sleep so soundly that way? I guess the photographer could have edited any crying or frowning out.
These photos will be treasured by the family.
They sleep very peacefully while the parents are awake. As soon as the parents try to get some sleep, the crying begins. :-)
We had fraternal twin girls. One would sleep soundly and the other spent the first six months of her life with colic and never made it through a single night without waking up loudly crying. At the recommendation of our pediatrician we took her twice to a specialist who did cranial massage and realigned the plates of her skull. After the first visit she slept soundly for two weeks. Then the crying started again. Second visit ... never a problem again. Every baby, like fingerprints and every person, is completely unique.
She said, "I just listen."
They sleep much of the time, really. At first, babies get hungry and need to nurse every three or four hours. As time goes on, they need to eat less often and eventually sleep through the night.
Most babies sleep soundly when little, unless the get hungry, and then the fussing and crying starts, to notify their mother it's grocery time.
Cutest babies.
