So there are recriminations going back and forth. If he did something wrong, why isn’t anyone in this article faulting Palafox?

Shelton [spokesperson for UH] said its physicians weren’t at fault for the fraudulent billing since Wahiawa General runs the clinic and received the improper payments.

“Wahiawa was responsible. That’s why Wahiawa paid the settlement,” Shelton said. “He (Olden) has been trying to get UH to pay the bill, but we didn’t do the wrongdoing.”

So Shelton is lying like an Obot?

I realize you aren’t very experienced in the real world, but he was being nominated to administer a very large state agency. The fact is there was an investigation of a program he headed of billing irregularities. The withdrawal of his nomination is not that surprising even if the subsequent investigation proves him innocent of wrong doing.
