Syphilis was eradicated decades ago by penicillin, only idiots do not get checkups regularly, if sexually active. Of course after a period of time, it won’t do any good, but other alternatives now for those allergic listed below:

“Penicillin is the antibiotic most commonly used to treat syphilis. Penicillin is usually given as a shot (injection). If you are allergic to penicillin, your doctor may prescribe another antibiotic in early stages of syphilis, such as doxycycline, tetracycline, ceftriaxone, or azithromycin.”

The more penicillin is used the more resitant organisms will show up...happened in late 60’s and 70’s...and 3rd stage syph is a *itch. Suspect todays dufuses wont even care as long as they have pot..meth..cocaine...oxycodone...food...and tv.
