It’s disingenuous to say that he “wins.” The other party didn’t appear and the case was dismissed. That’s not the same thing as winning on the merits of the case. Hardly a groundbreaking victory for human rights.

The case was not ‘dismissed’. They lost by default because they did not show up for court. That’s why they were fined 1550 pounds in court costs.

You can’t avoid a civil case just by not showing up. You lose.
