I wonder why the studios, producers, financial backers
of films don't tell these so called "super stars" to
to keep their mouths shut regarding political and social
issues? I mean they can put those sort of terms into
their contracts can't they?

I've seen reported that Jennifer Lawrence commands
twenty million dollars for a film.
You'd think the people making the film would
want to protect their considerable investment and not
have an errant political comment by their "super star"
trash that investment.

Politics for the left is revealed religion. It is greater than money. Money is its grease. Now they are trapped. They cannot raise the money to promote their religion. SAD!~

Great post, but this strategy carries you only so far when the product stinks.

I think a lot of the directors, producers and studios may be encouraging the actors to get political. Plus people in the industry don’t seem to believe that anyone is boycotting them due to political comments by the actors. They blame bad reviews and Netflix.
