So, you’re pushing NFL football on ESPN? How treasonous is that? Can’t get enough disrespect to our National Anthem or anti Trump remarks from their commentators?

ESPN has a certain kind of problem, but more cultural decay has probably happened at the hands of CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and perhaps especially FOX. All of the pay channels have their sins as well.

I can judge with some detachment, as I don't even have a TV, and haven't for three decades. It was just a decision I made some time ago, and not meant to be virtue signaling. I even chased the Nielsen people away when they wanted to use my family for a week or two.

Maybe you don't watch any of the aforementioned channels. Do you have a car? Do you use gasoline from nations that sponsor terrorism in the Middle East? Maybe you use Citgo, and sponsor Communism in our hemisphere.

Yes, it would do well for all of us to make little sacrifices for our country, and give up some of the pleasantries we used to get to enjoy. I suggest we pick our own personal sacrifices and leave others be, making the exception only for those things that are inherently bad (e.g. things whose raison d'etre are evil, like Tinder); and the flipside, buycotts. Instead of tearing people down for going to Burger King because they served a Pride Whopper (I stopped patronizing BK for that one) tell them to go to Chick-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby because they are good people who do things well.

And by the way ... the Cowboys will stink up the joint, AGAIN!
