One of my co-workers is in the Houston area, helping with the post-Harvey cleanup. He's about to head back home, though, as he wants to be with his wife on the 23rd because of this.
Being a perennial smart-ass, I commented: "Why? - Either both of y'all are going to the same place, or you're not! It's not like there will be airline tickets and adjoining seats, right?"
He was not amused.
