FULL TITLE: 'All Americans have the right to peaceful protests': Dale Earnhardt Jr. breaks ranks with NASCAR and backs the NFL in war with Trump

Dale Earnhardt Jr. broke with NASCAR's ranks on Monday morning, Tweeting his support for peaceful demonstration after president Donald Trump spent the better part of the weekend condemning NFL players for protesting injustice in America by kneeling during the national anthem.

'All Americans R granted rights 2 peaceful protests,' read a Tweet by Earnhardt, who followed with a quote from the late President John F. Kennedy. 'Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable-JFK.'

About 30 minutes earlier, Trump Tweeted his support for NASCAR, whose drivers did not protest by kneeling during the national anthem prior to the Sprint Cup race in New Hampshire on Sunday. 'So proud of NASCAR and its supporters and fans,' wrote Trump. 'They won't put up with disrespecting our Country or our Flag - they said it loud and clear!'

Imagine if that “peaceful protest” took the form of wearing a Confederate Flag on your shirt - to work. Am I supposed to believe that is protected speech, and the employer could take no action?

I don’t know of ANYONE saying the players cannot peacefully protest or write articles (like THAT would happen!) or talk about injustice on TV. But not while wearing your employee uniform, on company time, in front of people who paid to see FOOTBALL, not POLITICS.

If I kneel before every customer I meet, raise my fist and shout, “Death to taxes! Free the taxpayer!” before serving the customer, would my employer be required to keep hiring me? If I debate customers on company time, is that “free speech”?

I’m SOOOOO tired of the STUPID!

Exactly!

Hey Dale, there are a lot of things Americans have the right to do but not on company time. I would guess you are one frustrated person, your career having fallen far short of expectations.

The Constitution doesn’t address crime outside of government.

Crime is a states’ issue.

Yes, but Trump needs to be careful to say expressly that he is speaking as an American Citizen who loves the country and not speaking officially as the President.

The Right has had a bad habit of overstepping their bounds for their own views and suffers greatly when the Left uses the Right’s malfeasance to do same thing to destroy freedom from government and then go a lot further as Obama did following Bush.

>>Not sure what you’ re talking about

I mean the legal instrument called a corporate charter that essentially endows collective corporations with the rights America’s founders intended for Natural People, not Franken-collectives.

https://www.google.com/search?q=Corporate+Charter

If corporate entities operate in a manner consistent with a blatant disregard for TRUTH, muzzling individuals within their purview and depriving individuals of their 1st amendment rights in the name of collective profitability - then the value of TRUTH should be superior to corporate profit interests and THE CHARTER SHOULD BE REVOKED.

"TRUTH IS GREAT AND WILL PREVAIL UNLESS DEPRIVED OF HER NATURAL WEAPONS FREE ARGUMENT AND DEBATE - ERRORS CEASING TO BE DANGEROUS WHEN IT IS PERMITTED FREELY TO CONTRADICT THEM"

--Thomas Jefferson

The 1st Amendement has been subjugated by corporate charter - and that is simply UNAMERICAN.

Property rights are just as fundamental as free speech. And one person’s free speech right does not extend to another’s property. So use your own dime and time to speak, not your employer’s. Otherwise, you are just a thief.

During a football game is no time for this nonsense. Dale
should keep his opinions to himself. They are being paid very large sums of money for just 2 hours a week to play a game of football. Explain to me how this protest crap fits in.

"Protected speech" applies ONLY to government not violating your freedom of expression. It has NOTHING to so with what a private company may or may not choose to do whether hiring you, keeping you or firing you. That is the company's free choice. The government has NO constitutional say.

And what are these...

http://graphics8.nytimes.com/2010/07/10/business/complaint.pdf?mcubz=3

“Property owners”

They are LIARS, and THIEVES, operating with impunity under the protection of corporate charter.

Those charters are a legal privilege not an inalienable right - and what the Republic can giveth, it can taketh away.

TRUTH is great and will prevail.

The truth is the Constitution gives the feds NO power to interfere with how private companies are run.

Dale Jr. and any other NASCAR protesters should take their knees 100 yards short of the finish line this coming February at Daytona.

Oh I agree with POTUS Trump on the sentiment regarding these over paid corporate thugs.

The corporate charter for their owners should be UN-Chartered.

Since they want to shyte on this one - Let the NFL’s Gladiator/slave owners prop up their profits under the protection of some other legal Republic’s framework.

>>private companies are run.

Private companies - AKA artificial persons manufactured by the 14th Amendment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_personhood

What the Republic hath chartered - it can UN Charter.

Those corporate charters are a legal privilege endowed by the Republic, not a Natural and Inalienable RIGHT bestowed by GOD upon His Human creatures
