Read it about five years ago along with “Venona Secrets” and several other books about communism. Indeed, very powerful and well worth reading.
What is amazing is how well the communists have used leftists to create the impression the right suffering from mass hysteria and delusions about communism. They really know how to manipulate the useful idiots.
What concerns me at an even more basic level, and I said this on another post today:
I said I thought there are only two choices for the behavior of a bunch of fellow cadets posing with him while he displays a large “X” on his hand he is holding up (presumably to signify Malcolm X) that they were either too cowardly to report him, or they are of a like mind.
After some reflection, I realized is a third choice, which frightens me even more:
This could be normal for these people entering West Point. They see this embrace of Che Guevara and all the Communist and Marxist principles that go along with it as completely natural and normal, with no need to report on it. Is it possible the instructors and other senior people at West Point see it that way too?
Have I been out that long?
Agree about “Witness”—very powerful book.
Was published in 1952.
Our local library had to get it from another library in another part of our state (DE).
We have had Communists in DC for over 80 years.
Punch a Nazi,
But, Commission a Commie.
Lee Harvey Oswald is unavailable for comment.
Limited data points, but that has been my experience.
We are reaping the harvest of the "long march through the institutions" proposed by German student activist Alfred Willi Rudolf "Rudi" Dutschke in the 1960s. He proposed a strategy to establish the conditions for revolution: subvert society by infiltrating institutions such as the professions. "Long march" refers to the prolonged struggle of the Chinese communists, which included a physical Long March of their army across China led by Mao. Italian communist Antonio Gramsci influenced Dutschke's "thinking". Gramsci, while imprisoned by Mussolini, wrote about cultural hegemony.
Notably, Rapone is a combat veteran.
[Democratic Socialists of America Veterans] issued me this CIB [Combat Infantryman Badge] for satisfactory performance under hostile enemy posting online in the twitter firefight of 26JUL, he tweeted August, using the hash tag Troop Left.
I want their ass.
This piece of commie shit has not earned a Combat Infantryman Badge...he is NOT a combat veteran.
This pisses me off, mightily.
Describing oneself as a Communist while an officer in the US Army is not a career builder.
Ole Spenser needs to be in military lock up.
It shouldn’t be now. Under Obama, maybe.
