CNN Anchor: NFL Owners Have Data That Support Trump’s Claim on NFL Protests Hurting TV Ratings

CNN host John King said Sunday that NFL owners have data supporting President Donald Trump's claim that television ratings have gone down because of players' protests during the national anthem.

"NFL owners so far siding with their players for their right to free speech, but they're also keeping close tabs on the financial impact and the public relations impact of this confrontation," King said.

He went on to say that the NFL owners have research "clearly showing the president is right" when he claims the national anthem protests are one factor in TV ratings dropping.

"Since the president weighed in, the owners are now dealing with a surge in ticket holder requests for refunds," King said.

And blacks would see a big ratings drop as further proof that the rest of us are a bunch of racists. Not that I would care. I embraced my inner bigot long ago.

Its Dixie Chicks Vol2.

No one wants to see some millionaire black dude with a bunch of candy-ass diamonds in his ears bitching about what a s***hole America is.

The NFL’s fortunes are tied to the networks. And Trump recognizes that the networks are his enemy. Their news divisions are his enemy. Their late night shows are his enemy. All the Liberal actors, writers, directors, and producers of everything from prime time shows to soap operas are his enemy.

Regardless of how many Conservative people are involved in football in all different ways, all across the country, the NFL is primarily a TV entertainment venue.
So it has become infected with the same PC virus as the rest of TV.

And the networks will stick up for the NFL. They are in this together, and they’ll go down together. If Trump learned anything from Steve Bannon, it’s forget about the Democrats (especially since they’re in such a weak position now), and go to war with the media.

Weaken the media, weaken the Democrats.

Spot on observation about Missouri being ground zero for this mess.

If they'd squashed this then, we might not be hearing about this now.

I think I’ve seen you post that before, and think it a pretty spot-on analysis.

There was a story out this week about the damage it did to Mizzou - their freshmen class is down 30%+. Hundreds of millions in lost support. Even the black student population went from 10 to 6 percent.

NFL should take note.

Actually, in my case, there are other factors ... see my list below.

I have chosen, after being a follower since about 1964, to no longer have anything to do with the No Flag Love (NFL) League.

I have been a Miami Dolphin fan since they started in 1966. I have hosted super bowl parties in my home ... but no more.

Some things which have brought this to a head:

1. I totally disagree with cities and counties using tax money to pay for billionaire’s arenas.
2, I disagree with teams that paid for stadiums having their team yanked away from them on an owner’s whim. (Houston Oilers, Baltimore Colts, LA Rams, St Louis Rams, St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Raiders, LA Raiders, SD Chargers and so on.)
3. Replay has become ridiculous ... the umps and refs can no longer be relied on for a call ... we need to review and re-review, ad nauseum.
4. We go to commercial. Then there is a kick-off. THEN, ANOTHER COMMERCIAL! Enough said.
5. Pink shoes and armbands.
6. Players who are thugs to women and others ... and are treated like they’re victims.
7. And now ... the final straw. Not honoring the flag, pledge or anthem, for some reason that they can’t even articulate (at least, beyond “because of Trump”)

So, enough is enough! And to whatever degree possible, I will avoid doing business with the major sponsors.

The NFL did it to themselves....at the zenith of their influence they showed their fear of man and mockery of God by stifling Tebow and others of faith. It is not that hatred of Tebow itself caused the entire mess for them but it did start the tumble. Folks began to see thru the amorality of the league and its coldness towards American values. Money became the NFL’s god when it mocked God and treated American patriots as though they were snot on tissue!

Some empires decline slowly and others can almost in a blink. The NFL is in danger of “9/11” itself. The airliner of its own amorality has pierced its globalist heart...now it is in danger of falling to the ground!

“Poorly educated, inner city, easy to manipulate.”

I think your points are well made but many of these traitors seem to have been raised by affluent parents and well educated (like Colin Kaepernwhatever and Steph Curry).
