Ahhh Concrete Charlie is missed dearly. I wish like heck we could go back to those days when you didn’t have to see all of the thug posturing and gesturing on the field. Apparently when Bednarik laid the wood on Gifford that play essentially clinched the victory for the Eagles and that was why he was celebrating. Bednarik said he wasn’t taunting Gifford and I believe him. Gifford believed him to. I remember an interview where Bednarik goes off on current nfl players that act like they won the super bowl when they sack the quarterback with their teams losing badly. Also, notice in the picture he is wearing his wedding ring. Classy all of his life.
