If the silent parts are taken out it would be a fair to middlin movie. Too many artistic pauses and gazes. And the continuity gaps were showing. Like who could see that the girl in the bubble was the daughter of han solo anyway?

IMO, the new Blade Runner is one of the best movies ever made.

Attack ships on fire off Shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-Beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time.

I tried watching the original yesterday. Had never seen all of it, just parts. Now I know why. I shut it down. lol That’s why I stream. Didn’t waste any money on it and I can do the same with the new flicks. If they don’t grab me in the first 20 minutes or so I shut them down. No loss.

Memorable lines from a great character in a great movie, but to see this day have no idea what they mean!
For Orion’s shoulder to have any spatial significance you’d have to be light years away, in which case you wouldn’t see anything on fire which wouldn’t be on fire anyway cause it’s in space! And what’s a c-beam?!?
