First lady Melania Trump's office fired back at President Trump's ex-wife Ivana on Monday after she boasted of her access to the White House and even referred to herself as the real "first lady."
In an interview with “Good Morning America” to promote her new book “Raising Trump,” Ivana Trump said she and the president speak “about once every 14 days.”
“I have the direct number to White House, but I no really want to call him there because Melania is there,” she said. “I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife.”
She added with a laugh: “I’m first lady, okay?”
“This is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise,” the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, said in a statement to Fox News.
“Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President. She loves living in Washington, D.C. and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States,” Grisham said, slamming Ivana’s book-promotion. “She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.”

Ivana is capitalizing on her EX being President. Ivana is not the First Lady. She is an ex-wife. Melania did not break up her marriage, and since Ivana values good manners so much, you would think she would have better manners and better sense that to call herself something she is not.
Can you imagine what it must be like, on a personal level, to have a husband preoccupied 24/7, to have his two ex-wives clamoring for public attention, tripping over a vocal, “cherished” first daughter every single day ... in the WH, on the plane, at getaway resorts -— a peacock clamoring for attention?
And the icing on this over-baked cake is a media, foreign and domestic, that proclaims everything you do, say and wear is wrong.
The saddest thing is I don’t see where Melania can go for support.
I sure hope she doesn’t, but if Melania grabbed Barron and left to move on with her life it wouldn’t surprise me. Nor would I condemn her for it.
And I’m unconvinced that anyone in her extended family would notice.
I love President Trump, Flotus Melania and Barron.

Melania strikes me as someone who will take the high road even if it kills her.
Can’t all these bitter, old ladies like Ivana and Hillary just go away? We’re all done wallowing in the past and it’s time to concentrate on restoring the country.
In spite of it all, she is being a great first lady.
Ima leave her alone. She is a mother of 3 of his kids and she hasn’t caused trouble.
Melania’s parents are around. I believe they live in Trump Tower in New York.
