My first visit to SF back in the 60s (I’m from the L.A. area) I was surprised by how much better dressed they were in “The City” than L.A. Except for the bums and hippies of course.

I can agree with the sentiment, with so much of civility seemingly circling the drain. However, Im glad we broke the chains of our Plastic Stepford Overlord teachings. Insofar, in good conscience, I cant concur with the conformity of a rooster sweater reaching an acceptable norm under any circumstances.
