Why would she consider this sexual harassment if she was not even in the same room when he said this about her.
In my opinion, the fact that you don't understand why that was wrong, speaks volumes about you.
Saying stupid things is not the same as harassment.
I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard a woman threaten to commit assault or domestic violence.
Well, write a couple more volumes about me, too. I think it's funny. Now, if he'd said it in person, it would be different.
But men, alas, still in this day and age tend to talk dirty from time to time.
I worked in an office with an incredibly gorgeous girl from the Czech Republic. At the time, I figured she was the prettiest girl I’d ever seen in person. She had character, too; she was engaged to a rich guy and gave the rock back when they broke up, much to the amazement of the other women in the office.
Anyway, one day I was down in the shipping office with her boss, and she called down to ask him what to do about a situation that had come up. He explained what he wanted done like he was talking to a child and then, after she hung up, he said into the phone, “Why don’t you s— my d—, that’s all you’re good for!” I was pretty shocked to hear the number two guy at the whole company saying that. The woman who ran the shipping office was present, but she showed no reaction.
Anyway, just something I’ve remembered all these years. I could tell you some crazy stories about the Muslim foreman, though. :-o
