Jefferson was no fool. He was buried in debt, so he gets his party in Congress to buy his library.
My problem with Jefferson is that he gives an opinion.....and at some point you will find another opinion which negates the first. Drives me nuts.
And I don't think he was as kind to his slaves as Washington. But that's my gut talking.
