Not only that the angle they were pointing was up. Yay, bullets in the ceiling! When 5 minutes earlier Negan was just standing on the balcony! Poor writing, people with no clue about anything gun related.
I know you have to write dialogue and action into these things, but Rick should have shot Neegan as soon as he stepped out. Or, the priest could have shot him in the building.
They are going to have to better going forward. These are big mistakes.
