Do you honestly think that being able to move beyond an early liberal indoctrination is an easy matter? Many people do not manage to see beyond early indoctrination ever, no matter how long they live. Being able to change one's political philosophy from one based in lies to one based on facts and evidence actually is incredibly difficult and requires a great deal of introspection, and yes, I am happy to say that I made that journey.
And if you go back and read what I actually said, instead of having knee-jerk reactions, you will see that I gave Reagan credit for the economy and so forth--even though I dislike him. I will go so far as to say that I can read Reagan's sayings and recognize the humor and wisdom in them--but if I have to listen to him say it, I'm going to start throwing things. Perhaps you cannot understand this because you have never run across people you find annoying--in which case, you are extremely fortunate, or else you completely lack whatever personality trait it is that causes some people to be annoyed by others.
