I’m still reeling from the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo, although it makes sense.

Impy's pickz, I'm being a real waffling little John Kerry this week
I want to bILLieve but the Bills oft let me down, Jets have surprised, being competitive in most of their games, they've lost the last 3 by 1 score after winning 3. My initial instinct was Jets but I convinced myself to billieve
2 teams that can't decide whether they are good or not, I'll take the Fig Newtons at home, God help me
Flacco's starting for Ravens who are coming off the blowout win, Titties are mediocre.....tough call, Ravens
Jags over Bungles
Philly, woe for the Broncos, woe
Texans over lowly Indy
Rams ram the pygmies
Ain'ts ain't gonna lost to the Bucs
The 69ers have lost badly the last 2 weeks after a string of competitive losses going back to week, new QB Garoppolo is not expected to start till he learns the offense. My olde Chi Cardinals are playing bad and lost Palmer. I'm 8-0 picking the niners to lose every week, I say the Cards break their hearts and make it 9 with a narrow win
Seahawks feast on some dead skin
Bendy's Old Dallas Texans and Big Chief Andy go Little Bighorn on the Boys
Miami is killing me, I'm 1-6 picking Dolphins games ugh, Raiders need to win and I think will.
Big D needs to take advantage of this lack of Aaron Rodgers, can they? Yes. Will they? Maybe not, but I say they do, Lions.

That includes beating Cincy and Cleveland and thus going 3-9 in the NFC and 1-5 in the division so, yes.

For tonight’s game, Bills over the Jets. I’ll have the rest of my picks later today or tomorrow.
To: Bender2
- Buffalo at N.Y. Jets: I think the Jets are better than they get credit for but the Bills are even better. Bills win it.
- Atlanta at Carolina: Atlanta offense has been weak and Carolina D is good. Bad spot for the Falcons here. Carolina wins this one.
- Baltimore at Tennessee: I dunno. Baltimore stinks, Tennessee is mediocre. I guess in that equation I go Tennessee to win it.
- Cincinnati at Jacksonville: Jax riding a strong D but still have Blake Bortles at QB so they'll never amount to anything. The Bungles almost fleeced the Browns this week in a trade but they didn't account for Browns incompetence in paperwork so they've already lost something this week. Bungles take it out on Jacksonville and win the game.
- Denver at Philadelphia: Denver is starting Brock Lobster, that's not good news for Denver. They will make some strong defensive plays but their meager 5 points (yeah, a field goal and a safety) won't be enough. Eagles win.
- Indianapolis at Houston: Do the Colts still show up for the games? I mean, why bother? Houston wins this one in a walk.
- L.A. Rams at N.Y. Giants: Oh boy, the Rams are on a roll and Giants have already moved on to studying their draft board for next year. Rams win.
- Tampa Bay at New Orleans: New Orleans continues to win this week. Sorry Tampa.
- Arizona at San Francisco: Yikes! This has the earmarks of a really bad game BUT I'll give the edge to Arizona. Cards win.
- Washington at Seattle:'Skins patchwork O-line can't stand up to Seattle Defense in Seattle. Sorry skins, Seahags win.
- Kansas City at Dallas: No Zeke? No problem! Oh wait, that is a problem. Kansas City wins.
- Oakland at Miami: Let's see, Miami O-Line coach doing coke before team meetings and gets fired in midseason, then they trade their best player for two tickets to the next Eagles home game (but they did hold out for free parking so its not as bad as it sounds). Miami has issues. Don't love Oakland but they can beat a dumpster fire. Raiders win.
- Detroit at Green Bay: If Rodgers was playing I'd be all over the Pack in this one. But alas, Rodgers is sitting on his couch screening calls from his family and can't participate. Stafford earns more than the GDP of several small countries so he'll need to step up. I think he does, Lions win.

I have a suspicion that this is going to be a bad week, but here are my picks:
Buffalo[X] at N.Y. Jets
Atlanta[X] at Carolina
Baltimore at Tennessee[X]
Cincinnati at Jacksonville[X]
Denver at Philadelphia[X]
Indianapolis at Houston[X]
L.A. Rams[X] at N.Y. Giants
Tampa Bay at New Orleans[X]
Arizona[X] at San Francisco
Washington[X] at Seattle - My upset pick of the week.
Kansas City[X] at Dallas
Oakland at Miami[X]
Detroit[X] at Green Bay
To: Bender2
Wow! Week 8... the halfway mark of the season. Had a good week last week, for a change. Okay, I missed on my upset-of-the-week special, the Texans over the Seahags, but it took a record effort from Russell Wilson to hold off Deshaun Watson and Company. The Texans will have better days with Mr Watson behind center. On to the prognostications for Week 8!
Thursday, Nov 2, 2017
Buffalo at N.Y. Jets 8:25 pm NFLN MetLife Stadium The Bills.... 4 - 0 at home, 1 - 2 on the road. Well, they're on the road this week, against their downstate rivals the Jets. Buffalo will roll against the woebegone Gang Green. Bills.
Sunday, Nov 5, 2017
Atlanta at Carolina 1:00 pm FOX Bank of America Stadium If anyone can figure out these two teams please stand up. The Panthers are on a two-year Super Bowl hangover, the Falcons a nine month version of same. But I still like the Birds and all the weapons they have on offense. Despite being burned by them before, it's Atlanta starting a turn-around. Falcons.
Baltimore at Tennessee 1:00 pm CBS Nissan Stadium Ten days ago I would have said the Ravens season was over and they would be lucky to score a total of forty points the rest of the season. So what do they do? Score forty and shutout the Dolphins. Now on the road against the Titans. And the Titans ain't the Phish. Titans.
Cincinnati at Jacksonville 1:00 pm CBS EverBank Field Jacksonville aka Jekyl-and-Hyde.... And the hard luck - no luck? - Bungles.... Jax does have a monster defense, when they have a mind to play. This Sunday they'll have that mind. Jaguars.
Denver at Philadelphia 1:00 pm CBS Lincoln Financial Field Your Super Bowl bound Philadelphia Eagles! Did I just write that?! Denver is on a downward spiral. I think Brock Osweiler will do better than Trevor Semian has the last several weeks, but that won't be good enough. Eagles.
Indianapolis at Houston 1:00 pm CBS NRG Stadium Watson is getting better every week - he may put up five touchdowns against a Colts team that is, shall we say, in disarray. Oops... hold the presses... it was just announced Watson was hurt in practice today and may be out for the season! Hell with it, I'm still going with Houston.Texans.
L.A. Rams at N.Y. Giants 1:00 pm FOX MetLife Stadium Your playoff-bound LA Rams.... haven't been able to say that since the early nineties.... But can the G-Men sneak a win as they did at Denver several weeks ago? Nah, I don't think so. Rams.
Tampa Bay at New Orleans 1:00 pm FOX Mercedes-Benz Superdome New Orleans... 0 - 2 start, 5 - 0 since. The Bucs have ... disappointed so far. The disappointment will continue. Saints.
Arizona at San Francisco 4:05 pm FOX Levi's Stadium Two teams going absolutely nowhere. Cards pick up Adrian Peterson, lose Carson Palmer for the season.. And the Niners... I dont think Jimmy G will make a difference this week. Cardinals.
Washington at Seattle 4:05 pm FOX CenturyLink Field I think the Bluish-Man-Group had a breakthrough of sorts against the Titans last week. And the 'Skins don't have the offensive firepower that Houston does... Plus Seattle at home. Seahawks.
Kansas City at Dallas 4:25 pm CBS AT&T Stadium Interesting match-up..... KC righted things on Monday night after a mini-slump. Cowboys also won last week... A big test for both of these teams. I think KC pulls it out. Chiefs.
Oakland at Miami 8:30 pm NBC Hard Rock Stadium My, how the Raiders have slipped (if not fallen). And the Dolphins.... four-and-two before that debacle in Baltimore last week. Will they rebound? Nah.... Raiders.
Monday, Nov 6, 2017
Detroit at Green Bay 8:30 pm ESPN Lambeau Field Looked like a great game when it was Stafford and Rodgers. Now it's Stafford and Hundley and that just doesn't tweak my Twinkie. Lions.
Good luck everyone!

Ouch, poor Watson. I'm sticking with the Texans over Indy. If anyone wants to switch, let me know. No one picking Denver or Indy, Pete?
