If there is anything positive about the decision, perhaps it is in the fact that the taxpayer is not footing the bill for his food, shelter, meidical care, etc., while in prison. The death penalty would have been too good for him; maybe Karma will catch up with him soon

I was thinking more along the lines of an F250 catching up to him. Oh well.
To put it in perspective, I was part of a board that gave more time in confinement than that for stealing a room mate’s laptop.
