That looks great, Fungi; very “fresh” - especially compared to the sodden string-bean casserole of Mid-Century-Modern tradition.

(I’m actually a fan of the ‘sodden’ thing; but I’m saving your recipe as a respite from ‘heavy’ this year; and for Christmas potluck parties, where something more fresh and natural is always needed!)

You mean like this C*** here? https://www.campbells.com/kitchen/recipes/classic-green-bean-casserole/. How can anyone eat that? It is only there to increase the soup maker’s sales. I will never buy another Campbell’s product. Why, when you can make it infinitely better at home?
