Tell that to The Donald. Hope is very close to Trump and you wouldn’t last long on his staff if you made that comment to him.
I haven’t really followed Hope. I was unimpressed with her behavior on the Asia tour which I read as showboating. It is for POTUS to pick & retain his staff as he sees fit. From the outside we see but shadows not substance so I am open to seeing more that would change my impression.
