I'm really not going to argue with you. You are emotional. Surely, it can't be a well coordinated smear campaign when the best bang for the buck was to use this during the primary. GOPe could have killed two birds with one stone. Knock out the Judge and get an easy win for GOPe Luther.

Of all the Roy Moore stories this is the least supported flimsy rumor of a type that normally would not be published. “People remember hearing something”.
Actually it is a well coordinated smear campaign. The same tactic the democrats (liberals) have used since at least Clarence Thomas (if not before)
Where you err is assuming that the GOP-E is behind it. They are merely piling onto the democrats plan.
All of these accusers have been shown (or will eventually be shown) to be democrat operatives.
Bringing out un-provable, and therefore un-defendable, accusations of stuff that happened 40 years ago. And bring them out just shortly before the election.
The mere fact that these accusations were NEVER made before goes a very long way towards establishing them as fake.
If the GOP-e was behind it they would have sprung it during the primary. The liberals spring it during the main election to hopefully help the anti-American democrat win.
Works exactly the same as any other accusations against conservatives over the last few decades. The democrats make the charge and our wussy senators/reps/GOP-e members instantly assume they are true instead of looking for evidence. It's been a very successful tactic for the liberals.
