I have a great many scanned images I need for work. They’ve all been scanned and cleaned using Photoshop through windows.

If I did switch over to Apple, would the files transfer?

Not sure about that, but I do know you can purchase a parallel ms os to install on a Mac, although I did not have to do that for my purposes. I think your best bet would be to go into an Apple store and just talk to the techs. Just walk in and they sign you up for an appointment......they text you about ten minutes before your time so that you can go out and about until your appointment. It is all highly organized, efficient and useful.

Image files and PDFs are OS-independent.

As for Photoshop, it works fine on the Mac. In fact, when Photoshop 1.0 was released in 1990, it ran on the Mac exclusively. Version 2.5 was the first to run on Windows.
