That’s Rad man, what a departure from “open air” motoring. Has there been a lot of head injuries in F1 recently?
There have been many close calls, but the last driver impact fatality in F1 that I remember was Senna in 1994 at the Italian GP in Imola. He wrecked and a front tire and rods broke off and one of the suspension rods punctured his helmet. I do not see how this design will prevent that.
Jules Bianchi died in a crash in 2014 in Japan. The Halo wouldn’t have saved him. Caution, it’s hard to watch.
