A corrections officer in Ohio was tossed on the other side of the bars after she admitted having sex with at least one inmate, authorities said.

Nakisha Newell, 28, was immediately fired after detectives in Butler County got a tip that the corrections officer — who had been on the job just 18 months — was bringing contraband into the county jail, including a cellphone and electronic cigarettes

Investigators later learned that Newell also engaged in sexual activity with at least one inmate, Jones said.
