FSU made a huge mistake with this one.... The guy gave them an undefeated season. Then years later gets one bad season after the main quarterback goes out on the first game?

Yeah, what a mistake this is for FSU to nudge him out. Hope they are ready for a funding cut due to poor seasons ahead. O.o

Great after the Gators firing their old head coach and picking the least wanted known name for the replacement in Dan Mullen Add to that with insanity of Tennessee coaching search hiring and the quick never mind you not hired after all and the firing of that school's AD...now Jimbo Fisher bolts for TAMU leaving FSU with a HC vacancy what a crazy week or so.....sports was a good escape to forget life's hardships for awhile(even when your team/teams sucked)...
What a strange week after Thanksgiving...

Talk about racism! If FSU hires Sumlin it means FSU and Texas A&M spent a lot of money to swap coaches.

When a Florida college football power has a hot streak, it starts drawing recruits at the expense of its in state rivals. That puts rival coaches and programs under stress and can force major changes because administrators and ADs these days prefer to act before recruiting has collapsed and built in years of losing seasons.

Dan Mullen will do very well at Florida.

Jimbo is leaving a lot of crap behind him personally. We know Jimbo and there is so much more to this than football.

I think the divorce was the real driving force. If he (or his ex) had been happily married, he would’ve stayed at FSU darn near forever.

Yep, I was just noticing that Richt is now the Dean of Head Coaches in the State.

And he’s only been Miami Head Coach 2 years.

Agree with you FamiliarFace - I think this season has been real tough on JF. New start might be good for him.

I'm sure FSU is sad to see him go!

If I were FSU, I would go after Kiffin. I know there are risks involved, but he’s got the biggest upside IMHO.

Tallahassee is awful. I dont know how College Station is, but Florida’s capital is a dump.

Kiffen won’t take a high paying job again for a while. If he does, his ex wife gets half. He’s staying at the bottom tier as a middle finger to her.

I can assure you we Clemson fans are. They might bring in a new head coach who could bring them back to their former glory. Heaven forbid any school do like we did and grow their own HC. By all means stick with hiring name brand has beens like most schools do.
