I used to have a photo of our dog and cat playing. The cat was full grown, and the full grown cat helped raise the dog from a very young age. The dog was a mostly German Shepherd mix. I took a photo as the cat’s head was completely inside the dog’s mouth. If one did not know their history, one might think that this cat just went to cat heaven. Way fun!

Would love to have seen it. Sounds like you don’t have it any more. That’s so sad. It must have been so funny.

I have a 16 lb tortie that plays “Chase Me” with my 5 lb teacup chihuahua. The cat goes tearing down the hallway with the dog in hot pursuit, then the roles reverse and they rip through the living/dining room, through the kitchen, and it starts all over again. This can go on for several minutes.

The 17 years 9 months old 25 lb peke/pom/sheltie mix just sorta watches. I think he wishes he could join in, but he just can’t move that quickly anymore.
