Middletown Division of Police
We don’t normally do this, but we need your help so we are calling out to all of you.
Our officers and detectives responded to a call last night of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival they found the mother of 9 deceased.
The kids, all 9 of them, have just lost their mother to a tragic death and right before Christmas on top of that. The mother was with her supposed ‘friends’ who then in turn left her to die in front of her 9 kids. Not only did they leave her to die, but they stole her money as well and told the kids they were leaving to go buy a 2-liter of soda. We were able to get pretty good descriptors of these two men so take note. They were two white males and were possibly a father/son team. The father had gray hair and gray facial hair with a red and black coat on. The son had on a brown jacket and was of thin build.
It has disturbed us so much that it’s time for us to make a difference. Their father is a hard worker, he has tried to make ends meet but it’s a vicious cycle.
Two veteran detectives who were emotionally impacted have worked all day to try and help this family. We will take anything you are willing to donate. We need clothing desperately, we need coats, blankets, food, a stove, a refrigerator, we even need ornaments for the Christmas tree we just took to them and of course toys. The kids range in age from 14 to 1. They are:
female-14, boy-13, boy-11, boy-10, boy-6, girl-5, girl-3, boy-2 and girl 1.
This family has touched our hearts and we want to help them. It’s not about our Facebook page, it’s not about “Likes”, it’s about pure human compassion. If you can help us out, please bring your donation here to the police department.

Yes this is Middletown, Ohio
Thanks! We can all do something for those kids, no matter how small a gift.
Funny, I’m just reading a book called Hillbilly Elegy by a guy who grew up in Middletown, and how far it’s fallen since the ‘80s.
31 years old with 9 kids and no father, or seemingly no family? Having helped with drug addicts, these kids have a very long road ahead of them. If they can avoid their mothers path, they may make it.
Drug abuse happens in all family - just look out far enough.
Stories like this help me understand why our Lord asked us to live in holiness. A little sin really does leaven the whole loaf. It may take 20 years but sin only grows in ones life.
All the more reason why prayer needs to be part of our lives every day. It could happen to our family.
