I was at Bien Hoa, Vietnam. I see no reason to hardly ever mention it. Before I went to Vietnam, I didnt want to go there. When I was there, I didnt want to be there. After I left, I still wish I hadnt been there. There was no glory from having been there. Though I am proud of my service there, I hated it, and thought it was a year of my life that was wasted. And the pinko commie geeks still took over. 👎

Too bad your experience was so negative. Most of the guys I served with have an opposite attitude. Maybe things were different in the Infantry.

They were killers with the thai peppers that burned the ears. (:o)

A WWII vet came up to me once and thanked me for my service. (He was wearing a 1stMarDiv Guadalcanal patch on his hat.) I told him we stand on the shoulders of vets like you who served before us.
