Sean "Diddy" Combs musical homage to blacks in America
Puff Daddy I Need A Girl (To Bella) Lyrics
Do twenty-five for me, nigga steal a pound for me Shorty probably blow a nigga to the sky for me And go and sit in a chair thatll fry for me And lord know if I die she gon cry for me
The type smoke all a niggas weed And still move at a niggas speed Never a victim of a niggas greed Especially if she runnin round with a niggas seed
Finna Get Loose Lyrics
Sean Combs
A nigga finna get loose, huh A nigga finna get loose, huh A nigga finna get loose, huh A nigga finna get loose, huh
Combs as a songwriter, are right up there with Lennon/McCartney, Jagger/Richards, Dylan, etc.
Invited to the White Hut many times
A stereotype is when you say, "All black people are high all the time."
Making an observation about an individual is different: "Did you see Sean Combs last night? I swear that guy was high." That's not a stereotype.
KRON-TV sports anchor Henry Wofford is himself African-American.
I was thinking Schubert, but your examples will do as well.
Rap “music” does nothing but enforce stereotypes. What is the rest of society supposed to think when their popular music is nothing but violence, misogyny, drugs, and crime? They can either be respected or they can be ghetto. You can’t be both.
Rap music- another oxymoron
The truth is always racially insensitive.
Dare speak the truth in a liberal mecca like SF, especially if you’re black criticizing another black. Uncle Tom.
So is Diddy not going to come to the guys defense?
It enforces only what races do to themselves. Stereotyping merely enforces simple observations.
Rap “music” is the most visible evidence of the soft bigotry of lowered expectations; any non-black spouting that filth would be pilloried for it. Eminem took flak for it years ago, while I hear no complaints about his black peers.
Put down the crack pipe and walk away....
Actually, that’s a pretty good rhyme for a rapper
People were upset on social media? Shocking.
The type smoke all a niggas weed And still move at a niggas speed Never a victim of a niggas greed Especially if she runnin round with a niggas seed
What language is this? Can someone translate?
“What language is this? Can someone translate?”
Language: 7th Grade Dropout. Translation: crime doesn’t pay except in the hood, take my girl I’m gonna hurt you good
That’s about all I can get out of it.
