Unintentionally hilarious. Those poor lads did their best, yet they could not possibly overcome the laughable odds against them.
EVERYTHING about that film (excluding the cast) was a hackneyed/bromidic regurgitation of better films - and thus, it was destined to become a cinematic suckathon.

Mine was watching the Fairfax Ohio 6 cylinder 1965 Ford Police car disappear in the rear view mirror of my 390 Fairlane GT after drag racing on the divided highway just outside Fairfax
My first car had a tricky headlight only switch for the above reasons (not even the brake lights would light). Had to use it twice.

When I got to finally see It’s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World on a big screen, I really saw how much the stunts were a part of it all.

I liked the car chases in the first three Bourne movies but especially The Bourne Supremacy.

Burt Reynolds White Lightning or Freebie and the Bean have not been mentioned. Both have great car chase segments!!!

Yes, Running Scared “he’ll swerve.” Bullett, French Connection, Live and Die in LA ... all good

Well I’m really old and the first time I saw it it had just come out. I saw it in the theater it was great.

I liked the movie when I’d seen it on tv and home video (and these weren’t big tvs). But the stunts and chases took on another level on the big screen.

not much of a chase but the scene in American Graffiti with the cop car chained to the light pole.
