I wrote that an all SEC faux ESPN championship game only appealed to Southerners OR morons.
I did not equate the two, although logically it would be possible for one to be both.
I heard you. Loud and clear.
“when the playoffs expand to 8 games”
And the sooner the better. Enough of this farce.
I didn’t even know the “playoffs” had begun.
Did you watch the game?
Pac12 and the SEC should compete in a lower tier bowl game... SEC does not deserve to be in the final 4. Yet alone 2 teams to stack the deck.
Not really even that. Auburn beat GA and Bama. Yet last to no name conf team. And the committee had them ranked #1 last week of the season. It’s a scam to get sec into the playoffs. If it was a fair playing field Big10 cheap would be there and UCF would be there. SEC doesn’t deserve to be there.
SEC does not deserve to be in the final 4. Yet alone 2 teams to stack the deck.
Umm, it seems to me that if they won one of the two games already, and are leading in the other at the time of your post, your argument is fairly weak.
UCF played a good game. They took the Big-10 spot.
Sec doesn’t have a spot so that works out well.
Oh that’s right.
But it’s the season that counts. Any team can win one game on occasion (except the browns).
When not promoting a liberal message, ESPN pimps for their broadcast partners in the ACC and SEC. They are especially pissed at the B1G because they formed their own network AND have a partnership with rival FOX. The Pac12 just has their own network and the Big12 just has a partnership with FOX, so the Bristol network doesn't hate them as much.
But yes, ratings for ESECPN championship will be abysmal, especially in the Midwest and west of the Mississippi.
Were you pulling for OK or GA? My guess on your part was OK.
The Clemson/Alabama is gonna be a nose bleeder. I guess your team is still out.
I’m pissed that liberal ESPN has a deal with the sec. They set the deck in sec favor, rig the rankings, and screw better conferences and teams so their investment in the sec pays off.
Oh please.
Alabama earned this. Clemson is going to fight for their life in this. They are capable.
Wasn’t it ESPN that gave the Heisman to that DB in Michigan?
No bitches there right?
I put my money on Manning. Maybe you banked on Woodson.
Not my problem.
ESPN doesn't have as much influence on the Heisman as they do on the CFP. But I will note that the past 2 years they heavily promoted the Louisville QB who played meaningless games in the overhyped ACC who really can't throw and will never play QB in the NFL.
He was a better pro than collegian.
But you had to go back 20 or more years for your lame example of ESPN favoring the B1G. Which was when the Big Ten had just 10 or 11 teams (can't remember when Penn St. joined). And long before the B1G had their own network or separate deal with FOX.
You’re just jealous.
