We seem to live in a world full of people who are willing to pointlessly mock entire strangers. At the point that the soon to be dead guy knew that his opposite was armed he went for a non lethal attack, spitting, judging, presumably, that the armed man would be hamstrung. I see this all the time out there: people trying to be as offensive and as mocking as possible, just hanging shy of provoking a justified physical response. Ask a cop how dangerous this is. Ask a cop how many people out there, in the context of a normal middle class life, are right on the edge of an explosion. Dangerous thing to do in my opinion.
