Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
MY ENTRY:
It might take a while for President Trump to reverse and correct the Dystopia created by Eight years of Obama, but he is doing a good job of it, despite the leftists trying to destroy him.

As well as a sentence using today’s Word For the Day, I am asking if you would like to share your FAVORITE Dystopian Movie.
(An example of this would be Mad Max, Blade Runner, or even Idiocracy)
My personal favorite Dystopian Movie is:
“The Book of Eli”.
What’s Yours? :-)

The world has been living in dystopia for the last 30 years.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

The Socialists speak of Utopia
Their vision obscured by myopia
In Cuba, North Korea
Venezuela, I see a
Terrible, brutal Dystopia

My personal favorite dystopian movie is “Americathon.”
There is a bit of lewdness in it, which is regrettable, but doesn’t IMO completely ruin the movie.

Thanks! I will have to check it out! :-)
(((”Idiocracy” has some lewd moments too, but sure does make a point!)))

Book of Eli spoiler: He’s blind and has the Bible memorized!
Favorite dystopian novel: The Road. It put me off cannibalism for months.

I just don’t know what to say about that.
Seems like something needs to be said, but I’m damned if I know what it is.

Tie between The Book of Eli and Blade Runner for me-and I just re-read my favorite dystopian novel for the 25th-30th time-it is This Perfect Day by Ira Levin, published in 1970-and although a bit dated, enough of what the author predicted is happening now that it is guaranteed to scare the s*** out of you...
The liberals get more hysterical
As it becomes abundantly clear
Pres Trump is totally ruthless-
The end of their dystopia is near
They’ve worked on it for decades-
They even made Obama their god
Then to get more control of us
Hillary stole the nomination nod
She lost and now it’s pres Trump
And liberals are still so pissed-
It’s their turn at being screwed
Without even getting kissed...
