Remember all that talk of the NFL losing viewership?

Yeah - because it's true. The Pats-Jaguars game may have been the highest rated TV show of the year, but that does nothing to change the fact that it was still among the lowest rated conference championship games in a decade, or the fact that the Vikings-Eagles game was also among the lowest rated conference championship games in years, or the fact that NFL viewership in general has declined drastically.

Anyone whistling past the NFL graveyard is welcome to do so - NFL advertisers are not, and will be driving the NFL's TV revenue downward.

I bet it’s because of the few freepers that comment how they don’t watch football on every football thread and less to do with the 22 million people that cut the pay tv cord Just this year...
