UGH. Inevitable return to winter, but just 1 more really cold month, till spring fever starts as the seasonal seed starting ramps up.
I always started seeds in the house in Feb. here in Texas. My “Jiffy Tomato Greenhouse” is here; it has 16 slots in it. The peat pellets are bigger/longer in the tomato one so longer, stronger roots can grow before putting them outside.
I got my winter wheat, rye, and garlic in so late, I may not be able to transplant until sometime in June. So I most likely will not be starting stuff too early here, unless I see some quick growth this spring.
