Not everyone knows a lot about sports, and thats OK! I, for instance, dont know very much (fine, anything) about being a cobbler, but no one gets upset with me for that.
But even when you come to terms with that, watching these three Jeopardy! contestants not even attempt to answer a single football question is so infuriating even Alex Trebek couldnt take it.
They waited till they had tried EVERY SINGLE OTHER CLUE to even attempt a football one:
Not
For
Long
I wouldn’t be surprised to see most professional sports hitting the skids in the future. It’s a generational thing; young people are just not that into sports.
I was watching. I got them all. Weird none of the three even rang in.
Fun fact: Our contestants answered as many clues in this category as the @Browns had wins this season. pic.twitter.com/KMaR8otIHe Jeopardy! (@Jeopardy) February 2, 2018
You go girl !!! (LOL !!!)
Thats great news. The fuddy-duddies will hate the idea, but Id rather see people playing Madden than just watching overpaid thugs play on TV. At least the Xbox version of football requires personal attention beyond yelling at the screen.
I don’t think that’s the NFL being in trouble, only two of those questions were NFL specific, one dated back to the 60s (when Landry invented the shotgun) and one the 70s. That’s just 3 nerds who don’t know sports. And hanging out in the nerd community as I do that’s pretty normal, the sports fan/ nerd Venn Diagram has a very small overlap.
Why do I have the feeling that if the category had been "Quidditch" rather than "Football,"it not only wouldve been the first category chosen, but no answers wouldve been missed either.
So, you were colluding with the Russians?!
The NFL doesn’t produce anything worthwhile of study.
It shows how intelligent people spend their time.
for one, NOT being insulted by media SJW’s.....
I had to laugh, intellectuals don’t watch mindless drivel.
I just sent this to my sons and son-in-law-——They’ll get them all,I guarantee it.
.
The NFL is soap opera for males. (Deliberately avoided “men”). It is just not about a Sunday game. The rest of the week is the drama of what happened, what should have been done differently, what everybody is thinking and saying, how the players are doing and feeling. And then all this projected in the future concerning the next game.
Not a manly thing at all. Get on with your work, your life, your family. The players, coaches and owners are raking millions/billions and do not give a rats’ ass about you.
It is not manly to sit around watching and then talking about other men playing games.
I couldn’t have put it any better.
Soy Boys
The Russians don’t care about football.
ROFLMAO !!!!! (you win 'post of the day')
