orporate America as a whole is blamed for all sorts of societal ills, from greed on Wall Street to shafting the little guy. But people's scorn can intensify when it comes to individual companies and other organizations, especially after inadvertent missteps or, worse, outright misconduct.
Here's a quick rundown of the 20 most hated U.S. companies, according to 24/7 Wall St., which took customer surveys, employee reviews and news events into account in devising its list:

I would add Walgreens prescription mail service. They took over the distribution for Primemail, and I have had to resort to having prescriptions filled locally.

And yet it is the most watched cable news channel!!!
i can personally confirm that Centurylink is the absolute WORST company in the world to try to deal with ... their staff turnover is horrendous and every time you call, the person you dealt with before “is no longer with the company” and someone new has taken their place, and essentially no one in the company has the remotest clue as to what’s going on.
the only competent people left in that company are the linemen, and they spend most of their time repeatedly band-aiding ancient, corroding copper bundles that should have been replaced for at least the last 25 years ...

I think “third rate” is being pretty generous ...
Big thing to learn from that chart:
There is no correlation between making money and being liked. Some very profitable companies on that list, some not.

why limit your criticism of Walgreens to JUST their prescription mail service?
In my neck-o’-the-woods, Walgreens pharmacies are the absolute worst. I even invented a slogan for them to use in their ads: “If we can f**k it up, we will!”

The Trump employees love the organization.
Odd CBS is not on the top 20...
