That's because the snowflake generation can't do anything. They can't make or do anything of value. There's nothing marketable about a 4 year degree ,with a 20 year student loan debt , in black studies/womyn studies/LGBTQRXYZ studies. The STEM majors are all asian and indian.
If physical labor is needed, only the Mexicans, and a fewer and fewer white guys and black guys from rural areas, has the stamina.
Still, there are Americans with a can-do attitude who are innovating. Often they are outside of the university system, hence outside-the-box thinkers, but swimming upstream in increasingly hostile the waters of snowflakery and socialism.
