• Yet if authenticity and consistency are among Spayd’s virtues, her vices include obtuse logic, shoddy epistemology, and the sort of common-sense conventionalism that a public editor ought to be challenging rather than championing.

It is difficult to speak common sense to someone whose epistemology is so different from one's own!

I have noticed that Merriam-Webster, my source for WFTD, seems to quote almost exclusively from left-wing liberal source material when providing examples of a word’s usage.

It is obvious that they operate from a different epistemology than my own.

Sometimes I feel as though I am in The Twilight Zone.

But at least on FR, I’m not alone!

LOL!

The NYT is not totally useless. It is quite useful when house-breaking puppies, for example!

Help, I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
Place is a madhouse, feels like being cold
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go now that I've gone too far?

Their epistemology leaves an unsatisfying taste in ones mouth which confuses rather than enlightens.

Indeed.

That is why arguing with a liberal is so pointless.

My epistemology is derived from a rigorous application of reason aimed at overcoming irrational anxieties. A progressive’s epistomology is the reverse. For the rationally challenged knowledge is derived from the domination of reason by the emotions of fear, anxiety, anger, and hatred.

Epistemologically, When Gitmo is full . . . America will be great again!

oh, and yes, you all may ‘borrow’ this witticism for your taglines!

While watching the Super Bowl, I polished off two six packs of beer; the rest of the night was epistemology.

In the pure left-wing epistemology
Mere facts are replaced by psychology
“How do you feel?”
And not “Is it real?”
No data, no truth, no apology

This favorite seems just perfect...

“Yeah there’s a storm on the loose, sirens in my head
I’m wrapped up in silence, all circuits are dead
I cannot decode, my whole life spins into a frenzy

Help I’m steppin’ into the twilight zone
The place is a madhouse, feels like being cloned
My beacon’s been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go, now that I’ve gone too far?”

Liberals never make any sense
Just more verses to their song-
Because all of their philosophy
Comes directly out of a bong

Their strange and convoluted
Epistemology is so confusing-
But it does has a saving grace
By being downright amusing

Such as saying guns kill people
SUVs make the Earth too warm-
That’s dynamite weed if they see
Inanimate object doing harm...

You hit the nail on the head!

But, in today’s epistemology, the nail would be suing the hammer!
