The Weather Channel was reporting on a Kentucky driver being washed down a flooded road (today) the rescuers were also stranded and needed help. Cannot find any links to this incident and don't know what the outcome is/was.

We have flood warnings here in the southeastern most corner of MI. The Raisin is rising.

It’s called ‘winter’ in the Midwest. Winter freezing interferes with drainage.
Before drain tiling, huge chunks of America from Ohio to Minnesota to the Gulf Coast were wetlands (that means prone to flooding).

Around here (just south of Cleveland), the forecast is for rainy weather until Sunday afternoon. As happens just about every year in late winter/early spring, there will be flood areas.

I hope and pray that people and property stay safe.
Having stated that if it were California there would
be a few posters asserting that God is punishing ALL
of us for our evil ways.
