Yep I felt the same about a freak bicycle accident almost 14 years ago. Broke my collarbone, shoulder blade and rib, but my bicycle helmet spared my noggin. I hated wearing helmets but felt guilty not wearing the required helmet in the Hilly Hundred. Had just buckled the chin strap moments before this freak accident and crushed the helmet b/c my head was the first thing to het the pavement. Always felt like the twinge of guilt was a nudge from the Holy Spirit. No more Hilly Hundred rides for since then either though.
Do they also have another lame excuse for Psalm 22?
In fact, I’ve had very many close calls with death that I attribute to the miraculous grace of God! No injuries like that one though...
