They can be. When You get the SIMM Card at or from WallyWorld or the Family Mobile Website.
Drinking and operating a router with a cutting bit that spins at 20,000 rpm?! Hold mah beer and watch this! ;-)

Sounds like you need help from a Higher Power.
There’s a meeting at 8 tonight.
Is that one of those 3+ horsepower ones?
Careful there fella....
If I could disable my Apple ID I’d be very happy. It doesn’t interest me at all and my next phone will be a Samsung.
If you have one nearby, may be an idea to head into an Apple store or even local Walmart.
Seriously, make an appointment for an Apple Genius consult at your nearest Applestore (on a weekday morning if possible) and make note of everything they do. The SE is a really nice phone and worth taking the trouble. Just some FRiendly advice.
Had an issue a while back. Turned out I had another ID that was the issue. Had to get a callback from Apple. Had to delete the old one, but I had forgotten the user/password. Apple guy was very patient and laid enough breadcrumbs I remembered the info and deleted the older ID. Been good ever since.
People are really helpful, eh? I read through these responses, and just a bunch of jerks.
Wow. At least beach333 was kind enough to post a link with some information.

picking an appt time is a worthless effort...you still take a number and wait. most annoying thing ever!

That used to be my coping method too. When things got stressful I’d he’d to the bar. When you sober up you’ll still have to deal with the phone though.
not always true. there has been tons of stuff I fixed/resolved/mediated/otherwise improved when I was drunk.
I just don’t remember how I fixed it.
The unhelpful a-holes, JohnBrowdie. Not YOU of course.
Safer than driving.
mabarker1, three questions:
Are you able to make any phone calls to or from the phone?
Can you connect to a wireless network and access the Internet?
Can you access the Internet from the phone via your cellular link?
