Hmm. Many parents I know would say the jury is still out.
Robert deNiro is convinced that vaccines caused one of his children to become autistic. He is but one of many people who wrestle with this choice. Other than on this issue, I don’t pay deNiro any attention.

One study can be contradicted by a later study.

I’ve seen it. A two year old

We looked at what do other first world countries do. One thing they do is spread out the immunizations. All in one day is hubris. It’s prick. Why do they say it’s ok to get eight shots in one day. The day they’re separated from their mother

Just spread it out just frikin duh

The fact that the symptoms of a genetic disorder show up in young children, at the age when vaccines must be administered, does not mean that the vaccines caused the genetic condition.

A lot of brain development is going on in young children. When the genes regulating the process are faulty, the parents often only notice the effects when the children start missing developmental milestones. The disease is there from conception, however. But most parents cannot pick up the abnormalities in the behavior of newborn infants, especially if they have no prior experience with infants.

The handful of antigens present in a vaccine is insignificant next to the daily exposure to millions of antigens that children normally experience. Ever see a baby drop food on the floor and then grab it and shove it into his mouth? That floor is just crawling with microbes, which are chock full of antigens. So are most objects babies encounter, and they put their dirty little fingers in their mouths after touching dirty objects all the time.

And it may not even be the components of the vaccines.

No child in real life ever gets 7 serious diseases at once.

The immune system can handle a lot but that kind of load is not something it encounters in real life.

Why should he suddenly be right about this one thing, but wrong about everything else?

I am not, in this post, taking a position on the underlying facts, but why in the WORLD would Robert DeNiro's personal belief be considered even worth mentioning?
