The nature of that video is suspicious. Was this videographer trailing the lobbyist? the politician? Who would even know who these people were in public? How would he know that he should be rolling video to “catch” such a moment?
Seems as phony as the stooge at the art museum who JUST HAPPENED to catch video of his bud spray painting graffiti on a Picasso painting.
Seems more like a sting/setup.
Well hes not fighting so it was probably legit.
It’s possible that the videographer did all that, but it’s also possible that the videographer just happened to be in the bar and saw how cozy the two were being and thought it would be worth capturing for posterity. In either case, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.
It’s called a smartphone. It can be used for video capture. Odds are there were at least 20 of those in that bar.
Yes, it does, although that doesn't excuse it at all.
The Waveland Tap where this occurred is kind of a friendly small dive with a very high profile. It's very easy to imagine someone with a statehouse background being there spotting these two by chance.
But note that the guy who took the vid is a convicted felon with a more recent interest in politics, and the lobbyist herself is a Bernie Sanders supporter and Dem activist.
